I'm thinking of attending a college in NYC. How does a city college differ from the typical campus college?

I think city colleges have a lot more opportunities for internships and just the culture of that city such as with museums, galleries, all that stuff is a very valuable resource that students who do attend schools in the city should take full advantage of.

Cities are also full of distractions.

Agreed. Generally speaking, I find that schools in large cities have less emphasis on extracurriculars because people are working off campus.

The wonderful thing about large cities, though, is the abundance of resources. And that is not something to be overlooked.
